Don’t miss the 2024 Yorktown Theatre IV One Act Plays

Come see more live theatre at Yorktown! The Theatre IV students have each written and directed their own short One Act plays, running the gamut of genres - - comedy, drama, fantasy, stories about the real world, and stories about other worlds!


The Theatre I, II, and III classes are the actors, and all design and tech are by Technical Theatre students. These creative works are not to be missed!


Each play will be performed twice.


The first time will be either on Feb 1st (Thurs) or Feb 2nd (Fri), from 6:00 - 9:30 pm, and the second time on Feb 3rd (Sat) from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. 


Shows are about 20 minutes, with a 10-minute break in between.


Thursday, Feb 1

6:00-9:30 p.m.

  • “What Now?” by Salome Ambellu

  • “Roommates” by Alannah Hjelm

  • “Mirage” by Joseph DaRin and Lauren Edwards

  • “Counterparts” by Abbie Schwartz

  • “Daemondium” by Goose Urdanick (note: this show isn’t performed Sat)

  • “Lies, Crime and a Last Minute Birthday Party” by Finch Malin

  • “Relationships” by Sam Mund


Friday, Feb 2

6:00-9:30 p.m.

  • “Human” by Bella Houston

  • “Laugh Track” by Cordelia Clayton

  • “Daemondium” by Goose Urdanick

  • “If I Could Change” by Ember Hartman

  • “Nothing Can Be Normal” by Toby Tulley

  • “M.V. and the Sea” by Maeve Wade


Saturday, Feb 3

11 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

All performances will be in the Yorktown Black Box Theatre (turn left after you pass the library) and are FREE, but donations to the Yorktown Theatre program are appreciated!  There will be a Bake Sale, so arrive hungry for treats!
