Drama Club

Open to all students, including those who aren't enrolled in Theatre this year. The goal of this club is simple: HAVE FUN! We will be playing many drama and improv games, doing team building exercises, creating characters, and possibly doing some scene work. Join Theatre Student Teacher Alani Kravitz after school virtually  from 3:30 to 4:30/5pm, and make some friends, build your confidence, and, again, have fun!  Begins October 6, contact Alani Kravitz, for the link or any questions or Carol Cadby.

During the Pandemic

YHS Theatre is always inventive and creative, even more so now during the pandemic.

Yorktown High School’s award-winning Theatre Arts Program is one of the best in the country!  Along with presentation and communication skills, the program’s unique approach focuses on important life skills like self-confidence and relationship building.  Many Yorktown alumni will tell you that Yorktown Theatre “changed their lives.”

What is TAP?

Yorktown Theatre is lucky to be supported by a booster organization -- Theatre Arts Parents (TAP), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  TAP supports the theatre department’s mission and provides financial support and volunteers for every Yorktown Theatre production.  As parents of a Theatre student, you are a member of TAP!  This is the link to the TAP Bylaws.
