YHS THEATRE AWARDS
CONGRATS!
Congratulations to Ian McWethy on his induction to the Yorktown Hall of Fame and Inspiration!
Seven Yorktown High School alumni were inducted in the school’s Hall of Fame and Inspiration, including Yorktown Theatre’s very own Ian McWethy (YHS 2001), now an L.A.-based playwright whose 40 works have been staged more than 4,000 times in 50 states and 32 countries.
Ian McWethy worked closely with Yorktown Theatre students last year to produce Losing Faith (published as The Incomplete Life and Random Death of Molly Denholtz) with the Theatre IV’s, and Graduation for Dummies with the Theatre II class. In the past, Yorktown Theatre has also produced 15 Ways to Screw up your College Interview and Bad Auditions by Bad Actors, also by Mr. McWethy.
