The YHS Theatre Arts Program frequently works with guest artists and local theatre professionals to enhance student learning.

Recently we have worked with these education partners: WSC Avant Bard, Synetic Theatre, Signature Theatre, the Arlington Cultural Affairs office,  American Century Theatre, and George Mason University.

 

Guest artists have included Bailey Nassetta (acting), Ryan Sellers (theatrical movement), Tom Mallan (Shakespeare text), Wyckham Avery (Commedia dell’Arte), Shizumi (Japanese dance/theatre), Mark Jaster and Brooke Weber (mime), Scott Kerns (stage combat) and Rick Weinard (set construction).
