Performance: Virtual Variety Show, late March

This Spring we will rehearse twice a week and produce a Virtual Showcase in March..  The show will be a combination of sketch theatre, scripted theatre, slam poetry, lip sync battles, songs, dance, juggle and more (!).  We will begin as an ensemble, then split into various sections and then come together to record the show.

The Drama Club is open to everyone and there will be optional auditioning for selected material once we begin meeting. How will we do it?  Find out by attending an information session on Tuesday, February 9th at 4pm on Zoom. We will be recording the show mid-late March  so please join by early March to be in the show!

Drama Club Showcase

Watch a recording of the Zoom production by the drama club . These crazy times call for creative solutions and that’s what the YHS Drama Club has in store for you! Student teacher Alani Kravitz directed the Drama Club.

What if someone sat down next to you on a park bench and started picking their nose?  How would you sell a $2 plastic pencil sharpener on an infomercial?  What if you attended a press conference where Barbie threatened to invade Canada? Thank you to student teacher and drama club coach: Alani Kravitz.
